About John Rodriguez, Director of Therapy
While attending Alvin Junior College, John was inducted into Who's Who in American Junior Colleges (1970). He attended Stephen F. Austin University (B.A., 1972), and joined the US Navy in 1974. He graduated with honors from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey CA (1975) and worked for Naval Security.
John was introduced to massage in 1986 while competing in Triathlons and Marathons. After a couple of good experiences with the clothes on, focused techniques we call Neuromuscular Therapy, John began taking clients in 1989 as he developed Massage Therapy Houston and Houston Neuromuscular Massage.
Ellen Rodriguez, Personal Trainer

Peter was a competitive gymnast from age 7 to18 years old. He trained with Olympian Jonathan Horton and Chris Brooks at the elite level. Peter has always enjoyed helping people improve their gymnastics skills and wants to help them with mobility, flexibility, and range of motion. He also known many athletes that experienced muscle tightness, stiffness, and soreness that would lead to injuries. With the help of his friends & family, he has chosen a career in Massage Therapy, so he can continue helping people get relief from aches and pains they might experience.
Yazmin has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2000.
She is an athlete herself, loves working out and running. She has been a massage therapist in the hotel industry throughout the years, working at Trellis Spa at The Houstonian and the Four Seasons hotel. She has been part of our team in the past and she's excited to join the team again. Yazmin was born in Mexico and she is fluent in Spanish. She is a dog lover and enjoys cooking. Her former clients include George and Barbara Bush.
Aubrey has worked in customer service, including being a supervisor for Starbucks. After friends and family complemented her therapeutic skills, Aubrey decided to make a career change. Aubrey graduated from the Lauterstein Conway Massage School (Austin, Tx) in 2019, and moved back to Houston to build a sustainable career.
Aubrey enjoys long morning walks and regularly immerses in podcasts for ongoing self-improvement. Aubrey is currently pursuing an online business degree with the goal of enhancing both her massage and entrepreneurial skills. Her hobbies include singing and writing songs.
